ORDER AUTHORIZING EXPEDITED LIMITED DISCOVERY Signed by the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt on 10/2/2026. Mailed notice (gel,)

#18

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiff's motion for leave to conduct expedited discovery and electronic service [16] is granted in part and denied in part. The Court grants Plaintiff's request for expedited discovery as the Court finds that expedited discovery is warranted to obtain Defendant's contact information. Enter Order Authorizing Expedited Discovery. Plaintiff's request for electronic service of process pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(f)(3) is denied without prejudice. Plaintiff seeks authorization to effectuate service of process by email and electronic publication but has not yet shown that it has a reliable email address at which it may reach Defendant. Any renewed motion must include these details. The motion hearing set for 10/27/26 [17] is stricken. The Court notes that Plaintiff's presentment date violates Local Rule 5.3(b), which provides that "[t]he date of presentment shall be not more than 14 days following the date on which the motion or objection is delivered to the court." Counsel is reminded to review and comply with all Local Rules. Additional non-compliant filings will be summarily stricken. If no other relief has been sought, Plaintiff is ordered to file a status report by 10/22/26 updating the Court on the progress of expedited discovery and proposed next steps in the case. MOTION by Plaintiff HOMEANDBEYOND STORE LLC for Electronic Service and Expedited Discovery

#13

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Upon review of Plaintiff's second amended complaint [12], this case is ready to proceed. All attorneys and self-represented ("pro se") parties are required to review the case procedures posted on the Court's webpage, including the requirement to set motions for in-person presentment on at least 3 business days' notice and propose an agreed briefing schedule for opposed motions. In light of Plaintiff's second amended complaint, Plaintiff's motion for leave to seal [4] is terminated as moot. The Clerk is directed to unseal the document at [5]. A status report regarding next steps in this matter is due by 9/29/26, if other appropriate relief has not been sought by that date. Further case management dates will be set as appropriate. SECOND AMENDED complaint by HOMEANDBEYOND STORE LLC against BULUOHUA US Official

#11

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: This case has been assigned to Judge LaShonda A. Hunt. Upon review of Plaintiff's amended complaint, the Court questions whether Plaintiff has provided Defendant fair notice of the alleged infringing activity. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 8(a). Plaintiff alleges that Defendant "advertises and sells metal door hardware bearing the Home and Beyond Store Mark without authorization." 1 But the personal jurisdiction evidence attached to the complaint appears to show that Defendant sold a "garbage disposal air switch button" bearing the Home and Beyond Store Mark. [10-4]. As a result, it is unclear whether infringing door handles and/or garbage disposal buttons are at issue here. By 9/8/26, Plaintiff must file a second amended complaint that resolves this discrepancy. Otherwise, this case will be dismissed without prejudice. Mailed notice (gel,)
